Singapore's cultural districts are extraordinary for their proximity: Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Gelam are each within 2km of each other. The Night Safari at Singapore Zoo was the world's first nocturnal wildlife park. Orchard Road for shopping; Haji Lane for indie boutiques; Tiong Bahru for 1930s art-deco cafes.
