Météo: Maroc

Morocco has three distinct climate zones. The north (Tangier, Chefchaouen) has a Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. Marrakech and inland areas have a semi-arid continental climate: cold winters (7–15°C), very hot summers (38–42°C), and spring/autumn are ideal for visiting.

The Atlantic coast (Essaouira, Agadir) benefits from cooling ocean winds even in summer — Essaouira's constant breeze makes it a top kitesurfing destination. The Sahara desert south is extreme in summer (50°C+ ground temperature) — visit November–February for comfortable conditions. Spring (March–May) is the best overall time: wildflowers bloom in the Atlas, temperatures are pleasant, and the tourist season hasn't peaked yet.
