Mai à septembre est la meilleure période pour l'exploration en plein air. Le marché de Noël de la ville de Luxembourg (décembre) est l'un des plus beaux d'Europe. Le sentier de Mullerthal est magnifique d'avril à octobre. Les voyages toute l'année sont possibles — c'est une destination compacte et gérable.
