May and September/October offer the ideal balance: warm weather (20–25°C), fewer crowds than peak summer, and lower accommodation prices. A beachfront hotel room costs €80–150 in May versus €200–400 in July–August. If you're flexible, April and November provide pleasant shoulder-season weather, though some restaurants and attractions have reduced hours. Winter is quieter and cheaper but rainy, with occasional days unsuitable for Old Town exploration.
