Summer (December–February): Peak tourist season with intense heat, but perfect for wine tastings at local bodegas like Maipú and Luján de Cuyo. Expect higher accommodation prices (from 800–1,500 ARS per night). The Aconcagua region is accessible for hiking during these months.
Autumn (March–May): Ideal visiting period. Grape harvest season brings energy to the wineries, accommodation rates drop to 600–1,000 ARS nightly, and pleasant temperatures make exploring Parks General San Martín comfortable. This is when locals celebrate Vendimia wine festival (early March).
