Best time to visit

Ski season December–March (Grandvalira is one of the largest Pyrenean ski areas). Summer June–September for hiking. Shopping and spa breaks are year-round. Tax-free prices attract day-trippers from Spain and France.

Visa

Citizens of EU/EEA, US, UK, Canada, Australia and most nationalities enter Andorra visa-free. There are no border controls with Spain or France — you need a valid Schengen visa to transit.
